Like every year, legendary singer Kishore Kumar will be remembered in an event Yeh Shaam Mastani on Thursday.
To observe the birth anniversary of eminent playback singer Kishore Kumar, 'Yeh Sham Mastani' will be organized by the Directorate of Culture from 7 pm at Ravindra Bhavan Auditorium.
Director, Culture Department Aditi Kumar Tripathi informed that this programme is being organized simultaneously at five places of Bhopal. Under this, Mumbai's famous singer Debojit Saha will perform the songs of Kishore Kumar in Anjani Auditorium at Rabindra Bhavan.
Young artist Sunil Shukr and Purvi Suhas and Saathi, Bhopal will perform at the Career College, BHEL. Alap Bhatt, Rajesh Bhatt, Dr.Dev, Alam Khan, Trisha Singh and Shreeja Upadhyay will perform at People's University, Bhanpur. Sanjeev Sharma, Shail Kumar, Mahesh Rupani, Haseeb Ansari, Roopa and Neelam will present songs at Sadhu Vaswani Autonomous College, Bairagarh.
At the same time, Pt. Khushilal will perform songs of Rajesh Kumar, Rajendra, Geetika, Sandeepa Pare and Mihika Malviya Kishore Kumar in Ayurvedic Campus.
Notably, Debojit Saha is an Indian playback singer and performer mainly active in Hindi, Bengali and Assamese language films. Saha was the winner of Zee TV singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 and was awarded the 'Voice of India' title. He was an anchor for singing reality show Zee Bangla SaReGaMaPa in the year 2006, 2007 and 2008 and he was also a celebrity contestant on Bigg Boss 2 in 2008 hosted by Shilpa Shetty. Debojit was seen as one of the Grand Juries for Zee TV SaReGaMaPa Lil Champs 2017.
