The Inaugural function of five-day programme on ‘Quality Management’ was chaired by MS Kinra GM (Quality & HR), Amitabh Dubey, AGM(HRD), Daisy Bhalla AGM(CQ&BE), Swagata S Saxena, DGM (HRD), on Tuesday. Total 30 participants are attending the programme from various sister units/sites.Kinra in his inaugural address said that on 10th August 2017, Director (E, R&D) had called a meeting of Quality Heads of all Units and action plan were drawn during the meeting to spread awareness among the people about the basic concept of Quality. He further emphasized the need of Quality in all the products saying that we have to be passionate with ‘Josh and Hosh’ to resolve the Quality issues. He also stressed on the basic concepts of Corrective and Preventive action to avoid the error/ mistakes/ rework.later, DC Bhalla, AGM (CQ& BE) briefed about the programme and quality concepts which shall be covered.
Earlier, Amitabh Dubey, AGM (HRD) welcomed and address the participants and said that this is a useful programme which provides a platform where participants get ample opportunities to learn and develop. Umesh Kumar Savle, Sr Engineer (HRD) proposed the vote of thanks and compeered the programme.
Meanwhile, Rajneesh Rai (Deputy Manager/IT) from ITS Department BHEl Bhopal, has been selected from more than 5000 applicants and awarded with the prestigious Next100 CIO Award 2017, in a glittering ceremony on December 1 at Hotel Taj Swarna Amritsar, in the presence of CIOs of various companies and elite group of Indian IT industry. He is one of the youngest WINNER & the only awardee from the Madhya Pradesh state.
