Indore based vegetable vender Mahesh Rathore was suffering from a big stone which was stuck in his kidney. It caused unbearable pains to him. Mahesh could not bear expensive treatment due to his poverty. So he was gradually getting weakness. These conditions affected his business also. And thus he was facing the hesitation of his life and death.
In between these circumstances he came to know about a free Urology Camp, organised at Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital in the month of July last. He came to this camp and got examined. His kidney has become almost function less. Urology surgeon advised him for kidney transplantation or availing regular dialysis. Due to financial crisis both these alternates were not possible for him. looking to this miserable condition of the patient, Urologist Dr. Gopal Badlani decided to insert stent in his kidney.
After following this procedure, patient was told to examine and monitor his creatinine level every month. It was surprising to observe that after following this procedure, the creatinine level of Mahesh was amazingly reducing, which was a positive sign towards his wellness.
Quantum of his haemoglobin also hopefully increased than earlier.
One another free urology camp held in Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital last week. Urologist Dr. Amar Singh came from USA.
Again his creatinine level was examined which was 0.9 which is of healthy person. Observing these improving conditions Dr. Amar Singh performed his successful surgery and his stone was exiled.
Mahesh and his family is now happy. He was discharged from hospital on Tuesday after his three day long post operative care.
