City’s celebrity designer Mumtaz Khan showcased his latest collection at LIFFT India Filmotsav. The Fashion show was organised at the global touring event held at Lonavla and evoked a good response.
At the LIFFT India Film Festival, The World Cine Fest, Mumtaz Khan from Bhopal presented Bagh print of Madhya Pradesh as well as cotton from Ajrak of Gujarat. Beautifully showcasing the natural colours and chemical free cotton, Khan recieved much appreciation. His collection was liked by the delegates from many countries.
On the occasion, designer Mumtaz told the attendees about the Bagh print of Madhya Pradesh.
The most special thing about this show was its showstopper. This show had 5 show stoppers.
Eminent veteran of film actor theater and former director of NSD Ram Gopal Bajaj, Famous film actress Mita Vashisht, Actor of Pyaar Ka Panchnama Omkar Kapoor, Theater and Film Personality Nayani Dixit, and the actress of Punjabi films Taranjit Kaur.
Beautiful jewelery of the show was designed by Gunjan Arora.
The show had all the actors including the Iranian actress Solmaz. In this show Farhan Qureshi and Taha Ali Khan of Bhopal also did a ramp walk.
Mumtaz Khan has already created a niche for himself at national and international platforms. With his unique designs and concepts he has also been felicitated with Iconic Fashion Designer of the Year award 2018.
Khan usually works on Madhya Pradesh’s Bagh Print. His collection Save Earth that was displayed at India Fashion League 2018 was a combination of Madhya Pradesh's Bagh Print, Gujarat's Azark and Kalamkari of Andhra Pradesh.
