On the eve of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, exclusive showroom of Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board would be inaugurated, said MD Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board Renu Tiwari.
Many changes have been incorporated in the new showroom, a new range of clothing ‘Kabira’ targeting woman and youths. The ‘Kabira’ brand would include designer readymade clothes of Khadi and new range of shoes. Earlier shoes for men in limited colours were provided but with the new showroom ladies footwear with contemporary designs would be introduced.
For the first time catalogue would be provided for the customers to select from the wide and new range of clothes and footwear. A quarterly catalogue on the theme of Jacket would be inaugurated. New range of Cotton and Polyster Khadi would be made available.
Apart from the new products a new initiative aimed for addressing grievances and suggestions regarding schemes and products from customers ‘Hello MD Khadi ‘ a direct communication with the Madhya Pradesh Khadi & Village Industries Board would be available on mobile phone number 7869601401 from 11 am to 2 pm on Friday.
Employment oriented schemes would be made available through MP Online kiosks. In collaboration with CRISP automobile training on two wheelers would be provided to girls and women. A short feature film on Khadi would be screened on the day of the inauguration.
Under the ‘Vindhya Valley’ brand spices, shampoo, pickles, sauces, jam and mustard oil and other products. The fine quality products provided by Madhya Pradesh Khadi & Village Industries would be provided with a new experience.
Khadi clothes, Khadi silk sarees, dress material, jackets, bed sheets, scarf and other kind of dresses would be available at the new store.
