Instructions of achieving targets of Jabalpur, Narsinghpur and Seoni districts under ‘Sehaj Bijli Har Ghar-Saubhagya Yojana’ and encouragement of completing target in remaining districts of Jabalpur region were given by Principal Secretary Power ICP Keshari during review meeting of Jabalpur regions and city circle at power companies headquarter at Shakti Bhawan. He said that Nal-Jal scheme should not be affected due to power supply problems and contact with PHE department should be maintained for achieving this objective.The scheme of self photo meter reading by mobile phone should be implemented by the three companies by October this year. Every division would have facility of registering mobile number and make complaints on Whatsapp.
Keshari praised making of revenue management system online and Dakshta App by East Region Power Distribution Company. He announced award for circles which would provide maximum number of connections of Mukhya Mantri Pump scheme.At present the need is to keep 33 KV and 11 KV feeders error free and till September 95 percent feeders should become zero percent error free.
From April 1, 2018 the city would witness spot billing and consumers would check the bill at the same time. At present spot billing takes 2-3 months of time to upload.
He said that more options for payment would be made available for the customers in the near future.
MD Power Management Conpany Sanjay Kumar Shukl said that strategy of engineers of Indore, Neemuch and Mandsaur should be applied to achieve targets by engineers of Jabalpur region.
