leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Satyadev Katare said on Wednesday it seems that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) vice-president Prabhat Jha who was removed in a shameful way as State president has not come out of that shock till now. This being the reason that he is forcing the Congress MlAs to join BJP either by luring or by blackmailing and is blaming me for that, he added.
Katare in a statement said, “I am aware that on many occasions Jha has expressed happiness in front of the BJP leaders opposed to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan when his Government has been rounded off on the floor of the Assembly.”
Katare further said that on the one hand Jha says in front of his party leaders opposed to Chouhan that now Chouhan Government would be exposed and on the other hand to remain gentleman in the party he speaks in another tone before the media.
He said that I do not want to make any comment on Jha’s statements because when the BJP does not took him seriously and does not consider this loud mouthed leader to repeat as the state president then why should the Congress waste its energy making comment on his statements.
The leader of opposition said that I have already said that no one can stop those who are leaving the party. The MlAs are selling their conscious under various pressures including monetary benefits. The question of my joining BJP does not arise, he added.
