MP High Court’s Justice Alok Aradhe has refused to give any relief to leader of the Opposition in the State Assembly Satyadev Katare on application for registering FIR against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Katare had submitted an application to register FIR in the matter of contractual appointments in Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism in the year 2010. The High Court stated that the matter is not related to registering an FIR.
Applicant had charged that no FIR has been registered on his complaint submitted to lokayukta. It was argued on behalf of respondent that Katare did not submit related documents when he was asked to do so by lokayukta to prove crime. Therefore, the High Court refused to admit the application for hearing.
