The movement of the first day was about to end in Bhopal by late evening, 5 leaders including Karni Sena family head Jeevan Singh Sherpur, Gujarat's Karni Sena president Raj Shekhawat and Shailendra Singh Jhala sat on hunger strike. He called all sections to join him and claimed that now he is getting the support of Brahmin and OBC society as well.

Sitting on fast, Jeevan Singh said that the fast will continue till the demands are not accepted. If the government remains adamant, there will be a big protest. Now people have been sent back, they are getting ready for the next movement. All classes are joining us. Till now we are only being given assurances from the government. It was said to form a committee of ministers. But now nothing like this has happened.

It is being claimed that the movement of Karni Sena is now getting the support of Brahmins and OBCs. Some castes of other OBCs including All India Brahmin Samaj have also participated in the Jamboree Maidan demonstration. Due to this the morale of Karni Sena has increased and they are talking about agitation till their demands are met.
