Kantilal Bhuria denounces BJP for misbehaviour at Scindia's meeting

Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) State president Kantilal Bhuria denounced the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the alleged misbehavior of BJP legislator Deshraj Singh Yadav and his supporters at the public meeting of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia in Ashok Nagar district.

“The behavior of BJP legislator and his supporters at the public meeting of a Union minister is a disgraceful act against democratic values. It appears that the BJP leaders have become so blinded by power that they have forgotten difference between right and wrong,” Bhuria said.

“People engaged in public service should not behave in such a way.

Belonging to the ruling party does not mean that you have got a license,” Bhuria said.  “BJP leaders have accumulated huge amount of wealth in last nine years due to which they have lost their senses and are unable to restrain themselves. Yesterday’s incident is a result of this.

But the BJP leaders and workers should always remember that there is no place for such attitude in a democracy,” Bhuria added.

Congress knows very well to reply in the same manner if BJP leaders are not able to control their behavior, he warned.

“Congress has also remained in power for years but such an incident has never occurred in its regime. Even the leaders of other parties have maintained harmonious atmosphere here.

This harmony has been maintained even during election time,” Bhuria said.

Bhuria has requested the BJP leaders to restrain their party members. “Otherwise the people of Madhya Pradesh know very well to teach such elements a god lesson,” he stated.
