Madhya Pradesh Electricity Board (MPEB) Junior Engineer-late Kamlakar Warathe’s father lakhanrao has demanded a CBI probe into the murder of his son.
While talking to media persons here on Thursday, lakhanrao Warathe said that there are few lacunae in the Kamlakar murder case that should be investigated properly.
He raised questions on the first medical aid provided by the doctors at Khan Shakir Ali Khan hospital where Kamlakar was first taken.
later, he also alleged, the post-mortem of the body was performed without consent of family members, as per the rules and regulations. He also suspected that some colleagues might have been involved in murder of his son.
He said, “I request CM to order a CBI investigation and to lodge an FIR against the MPEB Managing Director (MD) and his staff. A case should also be registered under Section 120 B of the IPC against the persons who signed on the post-mortem form.”
Warathe stated that if CBI probe is not ordered in the murder case within three days, he would start hunger strike with his family.
He informed that the MD misbehaved with him when he visited him for the investigation of the case on Wednesday. The MD ordered the guards to throw him out of his office and he was literally thrown away by the guards, Warathe added.
Kamlakar Warathe, (25) had died after being injured critically in an attack by two men-Santosh Vishwakarma and his nephew inside the MPEB office in the city’s Chandbad area.
