The final matches of the kabaddi and volleyball tournaments were played on Saturday during the last day of the State level tournament under the ‘Khelo India’ campaign. Bhopal division bagged the title of the overall champion of the tournament in the under 14 (boys) and under 17 (girls) category of the volleyball competition.
Bhopal division has also bagged the title of champion in the under 17 category (girls) of the kabaddi competition.
Bhopal division has bagged the gold medal while Chambal and Jabalpur divisions have won the silver and the bronze medals respectively in the under 17 boys’ volley ball match.

Similarly, Gwalior division has won the gold medal while Bhopal and Ujjain divisions have bagged the silver and the bronze medals respectively in the under 17 boys’ kabaddi match.
Gwalior division has won the gold medal while Sagar and Bhopal divisions have bagged the silver and the bronze medals respectively in the under 14 girls’ kabaddi match.
Narmadapuram division has won the gold medal while Rewa and Sagar divisions have bagged the silver and the bronze medals respectively in the under 14 boys’ kabaddi match.
Meanwhile, the two employees of the sports department, laxmi Narayan Tuli and Sitabai retired on Saturday, were accorded farewell in a programme by Sports and youth welfare’s Deputy Director Balu Singh Yadav, PS Bundela, Hari Narayan Soni along with other officials of the department.
