Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized that July 1 will mark a significant day for both the nation and the state. Laws such as the Indian Penal Code, CrPC, and Indian Evidence Act, which have been in place since the British era, are set to undergo transformative changes. These reforms will replace punitive approaches with a focus on justice under the new Code of Justice. Yadav underscored that the shift reflects India's tradition of justice, contrasting with the British colonial emphasis on punishment.
Yadav emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, these three laws will be seamlessly integrated into the lives of all citizens, providing convenience and fostering pride in our cultural heritage. Comprehensive training programs have been conducted within police stations statewide.
