John Kerry's praise of 'saffron revolution' is a matter of pride: BJP

America was the first country to admire Swami Vivekananda as the worshipper of humanity, said State BJP vice-president Raghunandan Sharma in a statement here on Sunday.

Praising the saffron revolution, United States Secretary of State John Kerry had observed that saffron revolution has brought new energy and development in India which is admiration for the country. He has also expressed that there are great possibilities of new developmental changes in the country, said Sharma.

These acclaims are result of the successful strategy of ‘Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas’ and the whole country is proud of these honors, he added.

Sharma expressed unhappiness on the forces which consider and propagate saffron as a symbol of terrorism. The frame of mind of such forces do not surprise as they are carrying remains of Colonial era and differentiate in every national symbol. They create confidence problem in the society giving rise to communalism but the people of country has rejected these forces.

He said that the Government before May 24, 2014 was ‘Yes Man’ of America but after the advent of the BJP at the national political arena by forming Government at Centre, the world powers have changed their attitude towards India as the time has changed and this change is for the prosperity of the country.

The change towards the country could be witnessed clearly as Barack Obama and John Kerry has praised the self respect of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has claimed that the relationships would be maintained with equal status and world fraternity requires India the same way in which India requires them.
