Students who have taken admissions for UG and PG courses in the colleges affiliated to Jiwaji University can correct their application forms themselves.
In a press release, the university administration has said that through this system those students who have applied online can correct any mistakes in their application forms. Students’ login provision will be made available in the university’s website so that students, themselves can make necessary alterations in their personal details.
If there is any discrepancy in the forms the students themselves can login and make the necessary corrections. The students can login to the university web site and verify their name, age, parent’s name, address, phone number etc, and make any necessary corrections. He further said that the application number given in the application form will be the password of the login ID. In another development in the Jiwaji University, Prof Sangeeta Shukla, the Vice- Chancellor has lost the chairpersonship of the Co ordination committee. Before this she was the chairperson of the co-ordination committee, on account of her seniority among the vice chancellors of the state.
After her reappointment as the Jiwaji University VC, she became the junior most VC in the state, hence lost her position as the chairperson.
Prof SS Pandey, Vice Chancellor of Vikram University has been appointed as the new chairperson. Pandey got this position on account of him being the senior most VC in the state.
Most of the major decisions related to various universities in the state are taken in this coordination committee.
Many key decisions were taken during the tenure of Sangeeta Shukla as the chairperson.
