Talking about Jhiram ghati incident, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel accused that it was evident that BJP had relations with Naxalites and terrorists as well.

When asked to comment on BJP’s Bhopal candidate Pragya Thakur, he claimed the BJP has relations with Naxalites. He was in Bhopal to campaign for Congress party. In Jhiram Valley incident, our top leadership including VC Shukl, Nand Kuamr Patel and Mahendra Karma were killed and NIA in its probe found nothing.

“As law and order is a state subject, we wrote to Centre twice to hand over the probe to Chhattisgarh government but the Centre did nothing,” said Baghel adding it was sufficient to prove the BJP has relations with Naxalites.

BJP’s links with terrorists are also evident with the fact that it their government which had released Maulana Azhar Masood during Kandhar hijack incident in 1999 and contributed to his safe passage to Pakistan.

Calling Pragya Thakur a habitual offender, Baghel recounted her brother in law used to work in Bilaigarh in Balodabazaar district of Chhattisgarh and she also used to visit him. Clad in jeans and T shirt, she had beaten up many with slippers and stabbed one Shailendra Devangan in the chest.

Claiming that the sadhvi had exhibited criminal attitude, he stated that nobody can be a sadhu only by putting on the saffron clothes.

The Chhattisgarh CM however did not respond to queries on what action was taken against Thakur in the stabbing case.
