BJP leader Prabhat Jha has filed a complaint against Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for allegedly making a statement on rape of Adivasis in Madhya Pradesh.
While slamming the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP Government in Madhya Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi had asked the gathering of some hundred people in Shahdol on October 17— “Dus saal se jo sarkaar hai, isne aadivaasiyon kii izzat kii yaa nahiIJ Apke saath bhrashtaachaar kiyaIJ (The Government that has been here in power for the last 10 years, has it respected the tribalsIJ Have they indulged in corruptionIJ)”
In the court premises, Jha told mediapersons the statement of Rahul was violation of laws provided to protect the dignity of women. “This is mental bankruptcy and an insult to 23 per cent tribals of the State,” he remarked.
