The State Congress has termed BJP’s national vice president Prabhat Jha as guest artist in his own party.
Reacting over Jha’s statement on Rahul Gandhi’s election rally in Madhya Pradesh last week, Congress Committee president and MP Kantilal Bhuria, in a statemet here on Saturday, said, “Before making unrestrained comments on a leader like Rahul, Jha should not forget that his position is not more than of a guest artist in his own party BJP.”
Bhuria said that the increasing popularity of Rahul and the crowd pulled during his rallies in the State had perturbed the saffron party and its leaders. The BJP and its leaders have got so much disturbed with the Rahul’s increasing popularity that they making indecent and unrestrained comments against him, he added.
He said that Jha should not forget the treatment meted out to him by the BJP, that first made him the State president and then showed door and when he made lots of hue and cry than he was made in-charge of a southern State Andhra Pradesh (AP) where not a single Corporator of the BJP could win.
Bhuria, also a former union minister said, Jha at the place of watching increasing crowd in the meetings of Rahul should go to AP and look at his party. The BJP has sidelined him and there remained no one in his own party to listen his views that is why to remain in news he gave such controversial statements, he added. PNS
