One of the most beautiful jewellery collections is being displayed in an exhibition ‘KANHA’ collection at Hotel Courtyard Marriott. The magnificent jewellery collection by Art Karat begena here from March 12 that would continue till March 15.
The collection focuses on embossed gold mixed with Kundan done in a very unique way. This is an exhibition from the unique designs by Asha Kamal Modi. She has also commissioned various artists to create paintings that were later integrated with precious stones set as temples on the neckline.
Many precious stones such as rubies and emeralds were carved into gorgeous god figures adorned with a shringaar of pearls and other elements such as kundan and filigree. It is amazing to see how Art Karat has mixed size with elegance.
It is seldom that such beautiful jewellery can be seen in person, as most of it is now only parts of museums or coffee table books. The collection includes a beautiful range of necklaces, long earrings, bracelets, bajubandhs, tikas, rings and pins.
More than 700 designs have been created for this collection and the entire range is priced between Rs 2000 to Rs 1 lakh and above with soaring gold prices it is a steal for jewellery collectors.
