'J&K alliance an effort for communal harmony'

Bharatiya Janata Party State president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan lauded the national leadership by terming BJP-PDP alliance in Jammu and Kashmir as a serious effort for establishing communal harmony and bringing the regionalism into main stream.

Chouhan said, “The allegations of Congress president Sonia Gandhi the minorities are feeling insecure under Modi rule are laughable. The comments of the Congress president are nothing, but disgusting effort to build vote bank. The Congress is indulging in the politics of caste, creed and religion since 67 years. It is the results of the efforts made by Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government on the communal front for maintaining communal harmony that during the past 11 months not a single incidence of frenzy took place in the country.”

Chouhan further said that by participating in the alliance Government in Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP has given signals of reactance of challenges. Hardcore opponent of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP would also agree that the stature of India has increased internationally in the last 11 months. Modi has awakened the latent self of the country, he added.

He said the maximum advantage of Prime Minister’s Jan Dhan scheme has been taken by minorities, Dalit and weaker sections of the society. Talks are held over poverty of Muslims, but those saying this forget that it is the Congress that is responsible for the poverty of Muslim community because despite being in power for four-and-a-half decade in the country, it did not let them move ahead on the path of development. Minorities are also having the same rights of development as the majority communities have, then why it was needed to look at it with spectacle of religion. But the Congress time and again fits the people into religious frame to keep alive separatism, he added.
