Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) vice-president Shyam Jaju has said that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has the credit to order the initial investigation in the infamous Vyapam scam and by respecting the public sentiments he has taken a welcome step to recommend for CBI probe as well. Jaju while talking to media persons here on Wednesday said, “In present circumstances though it was not relevant because the investigations were going on under monitoring of High Court and the Supreme Court has also expressed satisfaction over it.”
Jaju further said that the BJP believes in the judicial system while the way Congress is pointing at the judicial system reflects grand old party’s culture of disbelief in judicial system. The Congress has lost the credibility of the CBI in the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi after assuming power restored the credibility of the CBI. The people of the country have evicted the Congress from the country. By remaining in power for long the Congress thinks that to remain in power is its birth right. Therefore by making a non-issue a issue the Congress has become subject of laughter, he added.
He said that there are BJP Governments in 14 States and since last one year it is in power at the centre and during this period it has shown development and good governance to the people of the country. The current incidences are not going to affect the party image, because those who are hurling allegation against the BJP have lost their credibility, he added.
He said that not only on one occasion but the Congress has been exposed in many issues and the people of the country understood that the Congress allegations are hollow. Jaju was in the State capital to review the preparations for the Maha-sampark Abhiyan that is going to start from July 13.
