Jabalpur to launch first advanced voice speech and hearing clinic

Jabalpur will soon witness the inauguration of Central India's first modern Voice Speech and Hearing Clinic on June 8, at 5 PM. The clinic, located near Samdaria Hotel, Rasal Chowk, Barath Road, promises to provide advanced treatment for individuals of all ages suffering from speech and hearing issues.

Dr. Vishal Mehra, Senior Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist, shared that this clinic, equipped with cutting-edge technology, is set to become the most advanced clinic in Central India. He explained that the clinic features various sections dedicated to diagnosing and treating even the most complex issues related to speech and hearing.

One of the key features of the clinic, Dr. Mehra elaborated, is its focus on diagnosing the causes of dizziness, a common problem among many people. The clinic will utilize advanced machines to determine the underlying cause of dizziness and provide instant relief through modern treatments. Another major highlight is the Advanced Tinnitus Clinic, which will offer specialized treatment for tinnitus (a condition characterized by ringing in the ears). Though many doctors believe tinnitus has no cure, the clinic will offer state-of-the-art tinnitus therapy to help patients find relief.

Additionally, the clinic will provide Cochlear Implants for Children under the government scheme. Children aged 1 to 5 years who are unable to hear or speak from birth will be eligible for cochlear implants through this government initiative. The clinic will offer speech therapy and mapping services for these children. Dr. Sonal Mehra mentioned that the clinic is authorized under the Indian Government’s ADIP Scheme for cochlear implants, ensuring that selected children receive treatment free of charge.

This new clinic in Jabalpur aims to revolutionize speech and hearing care in Central India, offering innovative solutions for individuals with hearing impairments, tinnitus, and other related conditions.
