It’s all about living your dream, says actor Chandan Anand. The actor was in Bhopal for the promotional activity of his ongoing show Chandrakanta. While in a candid discussion with the media persons, the actor said, “Ultimately it’s all about living your dream and for doing so if there is a lot of struggle then it’s absolutely ok.”
Sometimes a serious lover of Bhage Re Maan and sometimes the intense theatre artist and sometimes the witty as himself, Chandan Anand as an actor is seen in many roles. This time, the actor is seen playing the famous ‘Kroor Singh’ in life Ok’s Chandrakanta.
Chandan is a polished theatre artist as well. While talking about Bhopal, the actor unveiled some facts about his theatre life and Bhopal connection too. “Habib Tanveer sahib is undoubtedly is one of the pioneers of theatre. So I always wanted to work with him. My father had a transfer in Bhopal and so it was my opportunity to meet Habib sahib. I tried really hard and somehow reached his house and found a note saying ‘Hum ek fatey ke liye london ja rahe hain kripya doodh na daalien’. But, whenever he came to Delhi our team Act1 group always helped his team. So this way I worked with him.”
He said if he will get a chance he will do theatre in Bhopal.
Chandan has also worked in films Kaafila and Pached. On working with an Oscar winning Cinematographer Russell Carpenter, he said, “It was an amazing experience. They are too professional and their style of working is entirely different from us.”
As he talked about the show Chandrakanta, he said, “I have seen the old Chandrakanta and learned what I have to do and what not. This time Kroor Singh will woo audience with his wit and cleverness as popularly as before.”
