Ashoka Garden police have nabbed a faculty member at Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Govindpura for molesting four girl students of electrical branch; on Wednesday accused was nabbed.
The victim students have raised serious allegations of molestation against faculty member JC Soni while they were pursuing their course at the ITI. SHO Ashoka Garden Sunil Shrivastava said that accused was nabbed after a complaint was lodged on Wednesday. The accused used to molest and harass them at the ITI and inside the premises in the name of sharing details of the course.
The accused was nabbed and has been sent under judicial custody, he added. The victims got admission in electrical branch where the accused used to ask the victims to meet him in the lab. At the lab he used to hold hands, harass and molest them. He also used double meaning and obscene language at the training premises.
The four victims have lodged complaint with the Principal of the ITI and senior officials of Technical Education and report was made to complete the process but no action was taken against the accused and he continued with his shameful acts. Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 354 and 509 of the IPC and section 9 and 10 of the POCSO Act. After the arrest accused was produced in the court and was sent under judicial custody.
