It is, of course, like a milestone for any actor to work in Bollywood and I am happy that finally I have received a chance to take a leap into Hindi films,” said a young and talented Telugu actor, Harshavardhan Rane.

Harshavardhan Rane, an established actor of Telugu movies, is all set to release his Bollywood debut with the movie Satra Ko Shaadi Hai produced by actor-turned-producer John Abraham.Harshavardhan is really excited about this new venture. In a rendezvous with The Pioneer, Harshvardhan reveals the mantra of success and also talks much about the excitement for this new venture. The movie went on floors from February 2014 and the shoot is completed in Bhopal. “Well, it would be too early to talk about my role. But all I can say that I am in love with this character and moreover I would admit that choosing this movie as a Bollywood debut for me was the wisest decision,” says Harsh smilingly.

Asked about what does he mean by ‘wisest decision’, he said, “I will not say that I have not received roles in Bollywood movies earlier, but as I read this role I was so fascinated by it that I couldn’t say ‘no’.”

Adding more to it, Harsh appreciates John’s new-way thoughts and ideas that he often brings into his projects. Harsh says, “John Abraham is brand in himself but the kind of work he brings in and the way he executes his ideas is spontaneous. If we see his earlier projects Vicky Donor where he introduced Ayushman or if we talk about Madras Café - his projects are path-breaking, of course.” “So there was a kind of reliability in this new venture and I have full faith in this project,” he added.

As he talked about Satra Ko shaadi Hai, Harsh said, “This movie is, of course, a romantic comedy and my co-star is television actor Barun Sobti.” Elaborating, he said, “I was shooting for a Telugu movie in Hyderabad when I received a call from John Abraham’s production house asking to give an audition and so I sent my tapes and audios to them after which I was selected.”

Satra Ko Shaadi Hai is shot in the city of lakes. Harsh while appreciating the scenic beauty of the city also adds,  “The artists here are really hard-working and also the Bhopalites are too humble to be with. During the shoot here I have found some lifetime friends.”Harshavardhan signs off with revealing the mantra of success, he says, “You are only successful when you have a stress-free, long sleep. So always endeavour to get a peaceful sleep after long hours of working.”
