Alleging that there is large scale irregularity in the interviews being conducted by the MP State Public Service Commission (MPPSC), former leader of opposition in Madhya Pradesh assembly Ajay Singh demanded to immediate stop the interviews.

He stated that this scam is larger than Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) that gone infamous as VYAPAM.

Singh in a statement here on Monday alleged that scam much bigger than the infamous VYAAPM scam is going on in the recruitment interviews of MPPSC and demanded that the interviews be stopped immediately and to restart the process with complete protocol and transparency.

Singh said, “large scale of irregularities and nepotism is going on in the interviews going on after the examination conducted by MPPSC for recruitment of senior officers in different departments of the state. As per the rules, the interviews conducted after the MPPSC exam it is necessary that the interviews should be taken in presence of MPPSC Chairman and minimum a member but in the ongoing interviews the Chairman is absent on the pretext of being ill and interviews are going on only in presence of one member of Commission.”

Singh further said that it is feared that only those candidates would get selected in these interviews who have greased palms of the concerned heavily    or who are relatives of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders.

He said that state is already infamous in the field of education and recruitment due to large scams and the similar scam in MPPSC has earlier been exposed. Hence, the ongoing process of the interviews should be immediately be stopped and demanded that complete protocol should be followed in it and the interview process should be made transparent, he added.

The senior Congress leader said that the image of the state has been disreputed and the condition is so worst that the trust of brilliant students and qualified youth has completely shattered from the BJP government of the state.
