An inter-college Kho-Kho competition was held at Geetanjali Govt Girls College. The two-day inter-college competition concluded here on Friday. Various colleges of the city were a part of the competition wherein only the girls’ teams competed against each other.
Giving a tough fight to other participant colleges, Geetanjali College bagged the first position and second position of bagged by MlB College. The event district level inter-college Kho-kho tourney began from Thursday wherein the first round of the competition was played.
It is to be noted that the colleges including, Institute of Excellence in Higher Education, Government Geetanjali Girl’s PG (Autonomous) College, Sarojini Naidu Government Girls PG (Autonomous) College, Government Maharani laxmi Bai College, Satya Sai College Bhopal Scholl of Social Sciences, Government Motilal Vigyan mahavidhyalya Sant Hirdaram Mahavidhyalya and Government Benazeer College participated in the district level Kho Kho championship.
First a qualifying round was played on the first day of the competition. Colleges including Institute of Excellence in Higher Education, Government Maharani laxmi Bai College, Government Geetanjali Girl’s PG (Autonomous) College and Government Benazeer College qualified for the final round.
The players gave their best performance at each level of the competition. After the qualifying round, a semi final round was played. At the semi final round colleges including teams of Geetanjali College and MlB College were qualified. Giving a tough fight to each other they bagged first and 2nd rank respectively. These kinds of activities are essential for overall personality development.
