The injured students of lNCT Engineering College were threatened to withdraw their complaint made with the police. The students were beaten badly by a dozen-odd masked men who stopped the bus carrying the college students on Monday.
The students were returning home after exams when they were attacked. The brwal due to the in-fighting between two groups of students which resulted into the attack vandalizing the bus and injuring two students in the evening on Monday.
On Tuesday students gathered outside the hospital and to avert any untoward action police personnel were deployed. In the incident Aditya Singh and Jayvardhan Raghuvanshi were
injured. The injured students are reportedly stable. CSP Govindpursa Virendra Mishra said that the students were targeted after a fight on April 21 between the students. A case of assault was lodged against the miscreants and further investigation has been started.
It was an internal tussle which took nasty shape after the students were attacked and beaten brutally, he added. The investigations are on and it would be investigated to find the reason of the attack which risked lives of the students. The possible reason which was found in the investigation was fight of victim students with Manoj Rathod and his accomplices who had a fight with senior students Deepak Jha and Shubham Singh around three days ago and the two were detained by police later. Victim students have claimed that the accused student used to pressurize them for attending political processions and after the refusal fight occurred and to
settle score they were attacked.
On Monday after mid-semester examinations when the college bus reached near Mt Fort school bus was vandalized and students were beaten by more than a dozen masked miscreants. Final year student Aman Kasniwal said that in the morning on Monday at around 9.30 Manoj along with Tariq Ahmed, Sajid Ahmed and two others assaulted him without any reason.
