Before lok Sabha elections, Madhya Pradesh unit of the Congress is again witnessing infighting, but the high command does not seem to be serious towards the issue.Silence of party high command over its leaders adopting rebellion attitude is making rebels vociferous.
Seems like the grand old party has not learnt any lessons from last year defeat in the assembly elections. General elections are round the corner and the party is not able to hold tongue of that leaders who avail every opportunity to speak out against others.
Former Union Minister Aslam Sher Khan continuing his rebel posturing gave controversial statement here on Thursday while talking to the media persons, “Madhya Pradesh Congress has been paralysed and I am trying to infuse life in it.”
Khan has raised questions again over the party Satraps within few days.In the last month only he has called on a press conference and while holding senior leaders of the state responsible for the assembly elections defeat demanded that the Satraps should take head on the big leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to revive Congress in the State.
Khan while talking to the media does not even spare Bhopal District Congress Committee President and former MlA PC Sharma and the only party MlA from the state capital and Muslim face of the party Arif Aqueel. “If the Congress fields any one from Sharma or Aqueel than it would be walkover to the BJP,” Khan said.
While former legislator Kalpana Parulekar also whipped the grand old party with full might. She has reached New Delhi to join Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). She pent up her feelings against Congress from their only.
Meanwhile, Aqueel reacting over Khan’s statement said, “Khan has lost his mental balance and if he would wage war with me than this would not be good for him.”Aqueel also advised Khan to get treatment from a good Psychiatrist so that his mental balance could not cause him further losses.
