Indore which is declared the cleanest city in the country consecutively 4 time in a row is now boosting the revenue generation for the State as with lockdown getting unlocked, the people are focusing more on buying plots and houses.
Indore District registrar Bal Krishna Mourya told The Pioneer that the present registry tax for the single month August 2020 is 89 crores which is Rs 3 crores more than the registry tax collection for the single August month 2019.
The total registry tax collection for the last 4 months has touched the mark of Rs 300 crores against the target of Rs 1320 crores for this year 2020-2021. There are maximum 39 slots of doing registry in a day to a single registrar and total 23 sub registrars are posted in Indore district at different locations.
Due to ongoing corona pandemic we are keeping utmost care and precaution and we book the slot of the buyer and purchaser and give them the time in advance for their registry work so they do not make unnecessary crowd.
Immediately the registry is done online and the compete registry documents is handed over to them on the spot so they don’t have to come to office anymore.
