Indore collector Manish Singh has initiated a continuous campaign against the illegal transportation of liquor which is led by assistant district excise commissioner Indore Rajnarayan Soni and implemented by excise controller Indore Rajeev Dwivedi and around 350 bulk liters of illicit liquor and 7 accused were arrested in 4 different raids.
A team led by ADEO Santosh Kushwaha with excise S I Lakshmikant Ramteke stopped a Maruti Wagon R car MPO9 CD 1431 and confiscated around 123 bulk liters of foreign liquor inside the car the total worth value of liquor and car is around rupees 3 lakh accused Pawan Wadhwani of Annapurna road Indore and Pawan Asrani of Jayrampur colony Indore were arrested.
In another case, Etios MPO9 TA 6298 car was stopped at Rau circle Indore after chasing it for few kilometers towards Tejaji Nagar balle balle dhaba and confiscated 10 boxes liquor containing 500 quarter unit a total of 90 bulk liter. The total worth value of the liquor and confiscated car is Rs 10 lakh. The accused Prakash dhoke of limbodi and Devendra chouhan or ralamandal were booked under excise section 34(1) and 34(2).
The trainee district excise officer Anshuman Chadar, ADEO B K Verma and his team arrested the accused. In third case ADEO Rajeev Upadhyay and his team consisting of circle officer Nitin Ashapure confiscated a Honda Activa two wheeler at chotta badganda super corridor in which 304 quarter units of liquor illegally carried by Arun Pal son of Ramesh Pal who was booked under excise act 34(2). In the fourth case a team led by ADEO Vishwakarma consisting of S I Excise V D Ahirwar Jitendra Bhadouriya Devendra Sharma Lakshmi Ramteke and Santosh Singh raided in village Dhabali Mangalia in Sanwer tehsil and confiscated around 400 quarter units of country made liquor a total of 72 bulk liter from the house of gabbar singh son of nagji rai who was hiding these liquor in the cardboard boxes in his house.
