Weather conditions witnessed rainfall,hailstorm, cold day conditions making weather extreme in the state in past 24 hours.
The effect of moisture incursion from Pakistan has started affecting Bhopal as well. Clouds started pouring over the capital since Thursday morning.
Due to rain in Raisen during the day, cold winds made weather conditionsfurther cold in Bhopal. Due to this the increase in day and night temperature has increased significantly.
The day temperature increased by 4 degrees above normal and crossed 28 degrees Celsius.
Earlier, the night temperature has also reached 15 degree Celsius which was 5 degrees Celsius above normal.
Met told that for the next 72 hours, there may be rain and thunder in Bhopal. Earlier there was a possibility of hail, but now it has become very less.
At present two systems are active together. Another system is getting active from today with moist winds coming from Pakistan. It is located in Rajasthan and Pakistan. Due to which the next system will induce rain for the next 5-6 days. Bhopal would rainfall Bhopal till January 8 and which could extend by January 9.
In the last one week, there has been abrupt changes in the temperature in Bhopal. In the last four days, the mercury has increased by about 4 degrees Celsius. Last night it was recorded 15 degree Celsius. The lowest temperature this month was 9 degree Celsius on the night of 4 January.
