Workshop for implementation of NSQF held
Bhopal: A workshop was organized for the implementation of National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) and Skilling activities. Director Skill Development Sanjeev Singh gave information related to implementation of NSQF and its standardization at the workshop. He told that this has been notified on December 27, 2013. It aims at integrating general and vocational streams of education and training. Additional Chief Executive Officer and Additional Director Skill Development JN Agrawal said that the NSQF structure determines qualification at 10 levels. Level-1 is basic level while Level-10 is the most advanced level. He said that the implementation of NSQF will result in integration between vocational education, skill training, general education, technical education and the job market. Among others who also expressed their views were Additional Director Skill Development Surabhi Gupta, Joint Director RDAT, Kanpur Ramesh Chandra, Advisor NSDA Manoj Kumawat and Advisor NSDC Tushar Anand.
38 to take part in Athletics competition
Bhopal: Thirty eight athletes from Campion School Arera Colony Bhopal would participate in this cluster level Athletics competition ‘CBSE inter school sports and games competition’ from Friday. This Inter school competition is going to be held for four days from September 28 to October 1, 2018 in Gujarat Public School, Vadodara Gujarat. In this competition, more than 1000 athletes of different age groups from various CBSE Schools of cluster 12 and 13 ie, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat will be participating.
Pharmacists’ day observed
Bhopal: Pharmacists’ day was observed on September 25, at Bhabha University Bhopal. This year’s theme was ‘Pharmacists are your medicines experts’. The programme was inaugurated by Sanjay Jain, President of Indian Pharmaceutical Association Madhya Pradesh Branch, Vice chancellor MC Kishore, Registrar Shyam Patkar and CEO Prasad Pillai Bhabha University. Chief Guest Sanjay Jain addressed the students about the role of Pharmacist in improving health around the world and also brief about the various opportunities in Pharmaceutical sector. VC of Bhabha University said that pharmacists play a vital role to the patient care by counseling providing drug information to doctors, nurses and monitoring drug therapy.
