69.14% voting recorded in 7 parl constituencies
Bhopal: 69.14 per cent voting has been recorded in 7 parliamentary constituencies in the second phase of the Lok Sabha Election-2019 in the State. Total 71.14 per cent male voters and 66.92 female voters exercised their voting right in the second phase.
Under the second phase of the parliamentary election, total 66.48 percent voting in Tikamgarh, 65.83 in Damoh, 68.08 in Khajuraho, 70.75 in Satna, 60.39 Rewa, 74.17 Hoshangabad and 78.20 percent voting in Betul has been recorded. Partially Naked body of woman found
Bhopal: A partially naked body of a woman, who was allegedly raped, was recovered from forest in Shahdol district on Tuesday. The body of the woman who is in her early twenties was found in a forest at Deolond.
According to police, the woman who is in her early twenties was allegedly raped and her throat slit with a sharp object. Her identity is yet to be ascertained.
SP Singh, IG Shahdol said, "The body of a 20 to a 25-year-old woman was found in a half-naked state. It appears that she was raped and then killed with a sharp weapon. The Identity of the woman is yet to be ascertained. A case has been registered under the relevant section of law at Deolond Police Station."
Police seize Rs 86 lakh from car
Bhopal:The Madhya Pradesh police have seized Rs. 86 lakh from a car here. The police recovered the cash from the vehicle on Monday based on information received by them.
"Based on information received by us, a car was stopped and cash was recovered from it," Ravi Kumar Singh, SDM Rau said. The Income Tax (IT) Department has been informed and further investigation in this regard is underway.
RMNH set to hold Summer Nature History programme
