SISTec-R organises expert talk
Bhopal: Sagar Institute of Science, Technology and Research (SISTec-R),Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized an expert talk on ‘Artificial Intelligence’.
The eminent speaker for the lecture was Manish Pandey, Principal Consultant-Program Management, MAP IT, Bhopal. Pandey, enlightened students with the latest trends and insights on emerging technologies and advancements. He also explained basics of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning where programs are developed to perform specific task utilized for a wide range of activities including medical diagnosis, electronic trading, robot control, and remote sensing etc. with detailing of skills required for the same.
Jyoti Deshmukh, Principal, SISTec-Rthanked the guest speaker and motivated the students to make use of information shared.
Action taken against over 1.6L persons
Bhopal: Chief Electoral Officer VL Kantha Rao has informed that after imposition of the Model Code of Conduct, prohibitory action has been taken against 1,69,374 persons to maintain law and order between October 6 and November 20, 2018.
During this period, 49,896 non-bailable warrants have been issued. In addition, 4,754 illegal weapons have been seized and 2,61,641 weapons have been deposited in the police stations.
Total 19,14,891 cases have been registered under property defacement, out of which action has been taken in 18,59,515 cases. Under government property defacement 14,17,134 cases have been registered while action has been taken in 13,81,889 cases. Out of 4,97,757 cases registered under private property defacement, action has been taken in 4,77,626 cases. During this period 13,626 cases have been registered for misuse of vehicles.
