Auqaf-e-Shahi to conduct lottery
Bhopal: The Auqaf-e-Shahi would conduct Qura (lottery) for the remaining accommodation in Bhopal Rubaat- Madina Munawwar during Haj 2019, on Wednesday at 10 am at the office of Auqaf-e-Shahi situated in the premises of Moti Masjid, Bhopal.
‘Start construction work of the elevated corridor’
Bhopal: Public Works Minister Sajjan Singh Verma has issued instructions to start construction work of the elevated corridor approved for Indore city soon. Verma was holding a meeting of departmental officers. The elevated corridor worth Rs 350 crore from LIG Square to Navlakha Square has been approved to minimize the pressure of traffic in Indore city. Verma told that the construction work of 6-lane road from Bhanwarkuan Square to Tejaji Nagar of the city will begin soon. He directed to remove the encroachments obstructing the construction work. Verma said that the concerned departments must work with mutual coordination to ensure completion of the construction works within the time limit.
No obstruction in hospital mgnt amid strike
Bhopal: No obstruction was created in the functioning of the hospital management following the strike by junior doctors in Government Medical Colleges and affiliated hospitals running in the state. Giving this information Director Medical Education said that the health services remained unaffected by the strike. All units of the hospitals continued to run as usual with the support of senior doctors. All emergency operations were performed. Patients were not deprived of treatment due to the strike.
Action taken for stealing electricity
Bhopal: On receiving information about illegal consumption of electricity from 11 KV domestic feeder Bagsi in Ratanpur village of Berasia tehsil by inserting PVC cable and connecting to 11 KV Akia agriculture feeder, action was taken and the wire was removed. In addition, an FIR was registered against Mangilal Gurjar, Azad Gurjar and Inder Singh Gurjar in Nazirabad police station.
