Taking cue of the PMT scam and other incidents that involved high-profile people, the State Government made changes in posting of officers and employees in examination and confidential sections of universities.
In a decree issued here on Thursday State Higher Education Minister laxmikant Sharma said that posting of officials and employees in examination and confidential sections of universities won’t be done for more than a year now. After one year, these officers will be transferred from these sections.
The directives came in connection with the recent incident in which degrees of Barkatullah University were recovered from the car belonging to a student leader. The police were still investigating the case.
