Imarti Devi’s video with rant against Nath, family emerges

Madhya Pradesh Woman and Child Development Minister Imarti Devi who has been in the limelight after MPCC chief Kamal Nath used the word ‘item’ in her reference for days, seems heading for trouble herself.

Bharatiya Janata Party has remained offensive on Congress party in last four-five days over the alleged ‘insult’ meted out by Nath to a ‘dalit woman’. The BJP has complained to several constitutional bodies against the remark including National Commission for Women.

Election Commission of India on Wednesday also had sought an explanation from Nath over his remark in 48 hours.

Meanwhile, a video has surfaced in social media in which Imarti Devi seems engaged in an angry rant against Nath for his remark. Before the conclusion of the video, the minister herself offers a contentious remark for Nath’s family.

The video is shared on twitter by Acharya Pramod Krishnam who in the past have contested Lok Sabha poll on a Congress party ticket. “Imarti Devi’s Madhur Vachan (kind words) for 10 time LS member Kamal Nath and his late mother,” Acharya Pramod titled his tweet.

“He (Nath) is a man from Bengal who came to Madhya Pradesh for being Chief Minister and has no manners how to speak. What can be said to such a man. He has lost mental composure after losing Chief Minister’s post. He is roaming around in whole MP in such a condition, what can we day to him. He can anything.

His mother and sister could be item of Bengal, we know nothing about this,” (sic) said the Minister in the 30 seconds video clip shared by Acharya Pramod on twitter on Thursday.

It was not clear when and where Imarti Devi had said this to the media. Surprisingly, both the BJP and Congress were yet to react after the contentious video went into social media.
