Sunsets at Eiffel Tower or the tale behind the Nimes Roman monuments, this photograph exhibition lets the Bhopal art lovers travel the streets of France. A solo photograph exhibition ‘Imagine France- le Voyage Fantistique’ is captivating the interest of the art lovers of the city.
The exhibition is put up by a French photographer Maia Flore at Alliance Francaise de Bhopal. She has clicked the streets and famous tourist spots of France to let the beauty of the city wow the Bhopalites.
The 13-day exhibition began on December 7 which is not only evoking a good response by the art lovers but also the travel freaks of the city. The exhibition will be on view till December 18.
Her photography is inspired by what she perceives as the boundaries between reality and unreality. Maia Flore says that one way to challenge the mundane everyday is to reveal surprises within it.
In this solo exhibition Imagine France Maia Flore depicts the French heritage through her dreamy world. Her approach fits into a research of coincidences between reality and her imagination. Her world is a complete fabrication in form of touching and enchanting narrations, even surrealistic.
She has clicked every hertiage site of France and has given her way of uniqueness through her photography. In her works, Maia Flore explores new methods of representation and narration.
The photographs are about the city of Paris, Nimes, Bonifacio, Vieux lyon and other cities of France. The beauty and rich history of the country has been beautifully depicted in these pictures which is being loved by the art enthusiasts.
