IIM Indore will host the first Qualifying Round of the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2015, at its campus on August 12. The Quiz will be bringing together quizzers from across reputed colleges & institutes of the city. Participation to this prestigious Quiz will be open to all Under Graduate and Post Graduate students in teams of three, representing a college.
Winners of the Indore round will represent the city at the Grand Finale to be held at New Delhi on October 16, this year. Apart from Indore, the regional qualifiers will also be held in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Ahmedabad and New Delhi. National winners will get an all-expense paid trip to Sweden, where they will get to visit head quarters of partner companies, universities and the Nobel Museum.
Quiz Master Master Kunal Savarkar, a mastermind semi-finalist and Content Editor for Kaun Banega Crorepati will be the Quiz Master for the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2015.
The 10 city Inter-Collegiate quiz competition is a part of the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week, organised by the Embassy of Sweden and partner companies to enhance the image of Sweden in India. The Week will also celebrate the spirit and contribution of the Swedish innovator, entrepreneur & philanthropist Alfred Nobel. The companies which will be partnering this year's Nobel Week include ABB, Air France/KlM, Atlas Copco, Camfill, Ericsson, IKEA, Munters, Oriflame, SAAB, Sandvik, Scania, SEB, Tetrapak, Volvo Cars, and Volvo India respectively.
