Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya is observing ‘Official Language Fortnight’ from September 14 to 30, 2020 in which various competitions and programmes are being organized. To promote Hindi amongst employees Essay writing competition were organized.
This competition was organized by Sudhir Shrivastava (Rajbhash Officer). In this competition, the participants were to write an essay on the topic “Importance of Indian language and culture in the changing scenario”.
About 11 officers/ staff participated in the Sangrahalaya in this competition and displayed creative qualities.
The IGRMS organised Rajbhasha working committee second meeting (July-September).
In this meeting, important decisions related to the Official Language Policy and its implementation was discussed and necessary decisions were taken.
In order to increase the use of Hindi, the official language workshop on ‘Hindi Notes and Correspondence’ was organised in the museum complex. The Official Language Implementation Committee was chaired by P. K. Mishra, Director of the Museum.
