Participating traditional artist, Champa Bai of Dindori, Madhya Pradesh said Ganesha, whose body has nature and harmony, in his every story and act always has a lesson and message of renunciation, dedication and respect.
To maintain the nature of his worship and healthy festivals is our responsibility as a social and cultural institution.
According to Paddy artists, Sadashiv Munda and Arjun Munda from Navrangpur, Odisha, Most tribal communities have a totem symbol which they worship or pray. This Gan sign can either be responsible for origin, protector of the community or a conscious element of the welfare, which directs and controls the whole community. This totem is worshiped by one and all.
In order to preserve the integrity of Indian culture of tradition, purpose and experiment, IGRMS is organising a seven days workshop dedicated to experimental artists and for children, who’ll take ahead this tradition.
In this series, today students from St. Teresa Girls School, Piplani and Kamla Nehru School, Kotra witnessed the process.
