Defeated Indian Forest Service association State presidential candidate Azad Singh Dabas has alleged large scale irregularities in the election of president in the panel for which polling was held on Friday.
Association member and contestant for the State president Dabas has raised serious doubts over the conduct of former secretary Manoj Kumar Agarwal in carrying out the poll process.
Dabas in his letter to Agarwal on Wednesday said that the revised election programme announced by him was illegal as it was not endorsed by the general body meeting.
Daba dared Agarwal in his letter to specify that when and where and when he has convened the general body meeting of the association for revising the election programme. “The time announced by you earlier on September 19 wide letter number 84 was from 2 pm to 5 pm whereas as per the revised program released wide letter number 89 dated October 13 the election time has been increased by one hour that is from 2 pm to 6 pm. This is totally against the rules. The change made secretly in the timing of the election suggests that you are working to get only one party benefitted from , he added.
He also claimed, “all decisions pertaining to the election are taken only in the general body meeting but you did not convene the general body meeting before the elections in advance neither did you announced the name of election officer that is also violation of rules. You did not follow any rules and regulation for conducting the elections and you were partial in the process, hence the elections conducted by you are totally illegal,” he added.
