The medicine companies increases prices of other medicines if some of their products are included in Drug Price Control (DPC).
The Central Government has brought the medicine Surfaz-O of Franco India DPC due to this price of this medicine reduced from `32 to `16. Now, company has increased the rate of Dexorange syrup from `94 to `99.50. In DPC there are 400 medicines and company has included lumerex in DPC. When it brought to DPC the rate is `136.10 from `175. Also zerodoll SP tablet price has increased from `68 to `78.
Due to this reason, patients are not getting the medicine at lower rates. Central government has brought 400 medicines under DPC but to get the illegal benefit medicine companies are using unfair ways. In India market of medicine is 90,000 core rupees out of which 350 crore rupees market is in the Gwalior.
Those products which have included under drug price control have become cheap, so the products which are not included in DPC companies have increased their rates to get the maximum benefits.
In 2012, Theofilyn drug was included in DPC after the decision taken by central government under the drug price control. Companies have brought the alternate solution against the decisions of central government and change the salt of drug and promoted the Doxofylline later on Doxofylline was also included in DPC then companies have brought Cefpodoxime and Ofloxacin drugs which were also included in DPC. Then again companies have promoted Cefaxine in the drug market.
According to Shiv Rattan Singavani media associates of chemist association the companies have increased the rates of non DPC medicines. Those medicines which are included in DPC by central government then companies have increased the rates of non DPC medicines due to which patients are suffering and bearded big loss. Government should try to control over other medicines also to provide the maximum benefits to the patients.

"The PMO also did not elaborate what this third party is. They also didn't say if such letters were even exchanged or not," Dubey said.
This signals further delay in re-introduction of the lions. "I don't see lions being re-introduced in the near future, there has been no such proposal with the Gujarat wildlife department either. When there is a legal battle between states, what can the Centre does," a senior official from Madhya Pradesh Wildlife department asked said.
Recently, Ravi Srivastava, then Chief Wildlife Warden of Madhya Pradesh in a letter to Roy P. Thomas, Joint Director (Wildlife), Union Environment Ministry, urged that execution of the apex court's order be kick-started.
