The idol immersion at the lake located near 05 number bus stop and Char Imli has been prohibited. It is noteworthy that the sewers of the respected areas are connected to this lake and so respecting the spiritual dignity, Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) has prohibited the idol immersion of lord Ganesha in the respective lake. Also the BMC squad has urged the citizens to perform immersion rituals at the city ghaats. The citizens are asked to perform the rituals in clean water and at a clean place. For this, ponds filled with clean water at the immersion ghaats have been constructed so that all the rituals could be performed with traditions and spirituality.
