The Bhopal music lovers of the city witnessed the melodious voice of an eminent ghazal singer Bharati Vishwanathan here on Thursday.
A cultural programme ‘Tarannum’ was organised at Dushyant Kumar Memorial Museum of Manuscript. Organised by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) the programme was held under the Horizon series of cultural programmes at 7 pm.
Notably, Bharati is one of the finest singers among the young generations. Hailing from Bhopal Bharati has reached the heights receiving appreciation across the world.
At programme Bharathi Vishwanathan wooed the audience with her performances. She presented enormous beautiful songs, bhajans and ghazals before the audiences which left the audience totally enthralled.
In her melodious and matured voice Bharati presented the qalams and compositions of various renowned poets which received appreciation from the listeners.
Bharati with her wondrous performance enthralled the music lovers at the hall. Whatever the genre, Bharati presented her vocal skills wonderfully which created an impact over the listeners.
In the next segment, she performed other tuneful, which was much enjoyed by the audiences.
The clarity in her voice made all the genres more melodies and an impact indelible. Interestingly, she performed both male and female songs beautifully leaving the audience enthralled. Her performance was more like a feast for the classical music lover. Her performances took the audiences into mesmerizing heights of ecstasy anyway.
Especially, the youngsters enjoyed her performance to the fullest as she not only performed old songs but also performed the songs of new movies as well. It was an extravagant performance by Bharati.
