Bhopal Branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on the occasion of 70th Chartered Accountants Foundation Day organised a Flag Hoisting ceremony. The programme was held at ICAI branch office at M. P. Nagar.
Notably, ICAI enacted on July 1, 1949 by an Act of Parliament; ICAI has embarked into its 70th i.e. Platinum Year on the Theme ‘Celebrating the Past – Inspiring the Future’. Several members of the Bhopal branch participated in the programme. On the occasion uniform to the branch staff has been given. Books and stationary articles distributed to the children’s.
In the series of programmes, a four day workshop on GST for under graduate girl students is organised at Satya Sai Girls College. In this workshop UG students will be given training of GST for four hours each day.
In the Inaugural session of this workshop CA Abhay Chhejed, former Chairman CIRC has mentioned about the Prime Minister’s message to Chartered Accountants on occasion of CA Day. PM recognised the contribution of CA in Implementation on GST.
To begin with session, CA Navneet Garg deliberated the basic concepts of GST and CA Piyush Gupta enlightened the students on levy and Supply.
ICAI has also organized a blood donation camp at the branch office premises.
This programme was facilitated by Gandhi medical college. In which more than 50 units blood was donated by the members and students.
The programme was graced by the presence of Alok Sanjar, Member of Parliament and Alok Sharma Mayor, Bhopal.
later, a cultural evening ‘Exuberanza’ was organised at Amer Greens. In the cultural evening members along with their family members participated in various events. Special performances like Dancing, Singing, instrumental music, laughter show, mono-acting were performed. later, Bhopal branch managing committee felicitated the senior members of the profession in recognition of their excellence in the profession and service to the society.
