Speaker of State Assembly Girish Gautam has said that he has got the responsibility of protection, the interests and principles of each member of the Assembly and he would handle it with utmost sincerity.
Gautham hoped that he will get the support of all members of the ruling and opposition parties, and it will be emphasized that the House should reflect on matters related to serious concerns and public interests.
Speaker was talking to media persons here on Thursday in the State Assembly.
Gautam said that the interests or rights of members are not their own, but the interests of the people of the area which he represents. In such a situation, the protection of the interests of each member indirectly means the protection of the interests of the public.
New legislators need innovation in the training of the meeting. In the training provided to the MLAs, it is important to pay attention to the theoretical as well as the practical side.He said that it was his parliamentary experience that the starred question is not only the head of the Legislative Assembly, but also the other modes through which the members can raise their problems faced in the field and get it resolved. That is why new members need to be trained on how much use of the proceedings of the House will be required for the welfare of their constituency.
