Kamla Nagar police have arrested two accused on the charge of abducting a 27-year-old divorcee on Thursday near Taj hotel at Bhadbhada; victim’s husband and his friend kidnapped victim.
The accused, identified as Shahbaaz along with his friend Saleem were arrested after they kidnapped Shahbaaz’s wife who divorced her.
After the girl went missing, the police were informed by the victim’s father.
The victim in his complaint stated that she was married to Shahbaaz but marriage failed and they separated. The accused husband continued to pressurise her to stay with him but victim refused.
In the night on Thursday when victim who works with house keeping left hotel after work and was kidnapped by Shahbaaz and Saleem.
The accused took victim to Pipalia Pende Khan where she raised alert and which forced accused to leave her. The locals with the help of Baghsewania police lodged complaint with Kamla Nagar police.
The photograph of the kidnapped girl was shared with locals. Based on the information, the police team rushed to the spot and searched for accused who were arrested in the investigation.
The victim married to accused but the two failed to keep peace and later separated. The accused later started to persuade victim to stay with him again.
