Call it a domestic violence or subjugation of women in a male dominant society. In a shocking incident as it is, a city woman was forced to have sex and make a porn film out of it, but none other than by her own husband.
The incident came to light after the woman, fled from Bangalore and lodged a complaint with a women police station here.
According to the SHO of the Mahila police station Renu Surab, the victim got married to the accused, identified as Navin Kmar Mdliyar of Bengaluru on January 27 this year. Within a couple of days of their marriage, the accused (her husband) and his in-laws started abusing and harassing her demanding dowry of Rs 10 lakh. When the victim’s family was not able to meet the demand, they started committing excesses on her. After that she lodged a complaint and registered a case under Section 498 A, 323, 506 and 34 of the IPC against the accused in Bangalore. When the case was produced in the court, Mudliyar opted for compromise and during the trial, a woman posing as woman appeared in the court and stated that she had no problems with her husband, the SHO added.
After the settlement of the case, the victim again started living with her husband but the harassment still continued. Worse, infuriated with the earlier complaint the accused husband Mudliyar had severely beaten her and forced her to have sex with his driver and wanted to record the activity, so that the video clip would keep her mouth shut.
Fortunately, the driver informed victim’s mother in Bhopal after which she was brought back and she lodged a complaint with the Mahila police station.
A case under Section 498 A of the IPC has been registered by the police and further investigation has been started. The victim was brutally beaten that she was not able to stand by her own and could not utter a single word when she arrived here.
